Vice President, Client Services and Support
Mrs. Borders is Vice President, Client Services and Support for Unibased Systems Architecture, specializing in the areas of enterprise scheduling and surgery management. She has managed enterprise-scheduling implementations for several large multi-facility healthcare providers, including Adventist Health System, Florida Hospital, Inova Health System, Jewish-St Mary’s Health System, Order of St Francis Health System, and many others. Based upon her experiences, she has developed requirements for many of the innovative improvements in USA products and services. Recently, Cindy has been instrumental in the progress of enterprise scheduling and surgery management projects at South Florida Baptist Hospital and St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.
Cindy previously held positions in information systems management with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and HBO & Company. With both companies, her responsibilities included installations and client education for financial, clinical, and administrative information system applications, as well as a number of specialized product applications. Cindy’s healthcare information technology (HIT) total experience includes product management, project management, and implementation services in almost all-historical information system areas.
Prior to her profession in the HIT industry, Cindy obtained a clinical background in laboratory services, specializing in surgical and anatomical pathology. She remains HT certified through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Cindy’s educational background includes graduate studies where she earned a Master in Hospital Administration (MHA), as well as a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management, obtained from Maryville University.
