Charles W. Kean
Vice President, Sales

Mr. Kean has extensive executive sales and marketing experience within the healthcare information technology (HIT) portion of the healthcare industry. 

Prior to joining Unibased Systems Architecture, Mr. Kean was the Director of National Accounts for Eclipsys Corporation, where he also assisted in establishing the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) HEALTHvision relationship, guiding the development of business strategy for physician and consumer portals.  Before Eclipsys, he was Vice President of Sales for Motorola EMTEK, where he was instrumental in introducing EMTEK to Eclipsys, resulting in the acquisition by Eclipsys. 

Mr. Kean was Vice President of Sales for McDonnell Douglas Healthcare Division, Unisys Healthcare, and Ferranti Healthcare.  His initial entry into the healthcare market was through General Electric (GE) where he was the leading sales representative for the Medinet product, selling to major chains such as Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). 

Mr. Kean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
