Unibased Systems Custom Reporting

Whether it is an immediate desire for some quick data or the request for a customized reporting format for a regular report, ForSite2020® provides you with easy access to all of your data with its quick, easy-to-use ad-hoc query tool, called EasyQ. When you get that call or email from someone in your organization wanting to know a specific bit of information for a meeting they are having soon, you need access to a reporting tool that will respond immediately and not require the resources of your IT department. EasyQ was developed for exactly this purpose. Because it is completely integrated with the application, you can count on the same sub-second response time as you experience with the core application. Designed specifically for end-users, EasyQ provides immediate access to all the data elements surrounding scheduling, registration, or the perioperative record. Just select the fields you want, apply any arithmetic functions desired, and print the report. If it is one you wish to use on a regular basis, you can save it into an infinite number of folders of your own creation. Your reporting selections can be saved for private use or shared with others in the organization. If you need something similar to an already existing report, simply open one and make a slight modification. It’s all up to you, and easy to do. That’s why we call it EasyQ!
Replicate, Report and Restore
When it comes to custom reporting, it’s simply not efficient to use the production database due to the potential of negatively impacting response time for other users because of lengthy, complex or improperly constructed reports. For those reasons, Unibased Systems has uniquely isolated an optional real-time replicated database called R3 on a separate server. Real-time, you have immediate access to the most current information. Because it is a complete replication, there is no discreet data element in the application that is unavailable for selection. Being a standard SQL database, any OLAP tool that is Microsoft compliant can be used to create your reports. Finally, because R3 is an entire real-time copy of the database, you can use it as a hot-swappable server should your production environment experience a hardware failure.
Standard Reports and Level 4 Reporting
Unibased Systems understands that in order to effectively manage your business, you rely on prompt and accurate information, easily available at a moment’s notice. That is why ForSite2020® has over 90 standard reports, spanning the entire enterprise including ancillary and surgical scheduling as well as across the complete nursing perioperative record. A special added feature enables you to export the report data to an Excel spreadsheet (Level 4 Reporting) and display the information graphically for those important meetings and presentations. For your surgery department’s unique needs, ForSite2020® has over 50 standard reports focused only on this important revenue producing department, many of which can be easily exported to Excel for quick and easy graphical representation as well.
