Senior Account Executive (Surgical Management Specialist)
Function: Provides various levels of account management to the assigned USA client base with emphasis on the PeriOperative Resource Management clients, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop and expand client clinical OR relationships and contact information with nursing executives, OR Directors and Managers and OR nursing personnel.
- Develop reporting standards
- Liaison between customers and USA organization through recurring visit
- Develop add-on revenue opportunities for products and professional services
- Address contract and invoice issues
- Provide input to Product Management
- Articulate USA product features, functions and development direction
- Assist in maintaining/improving KLAS ratings
- Reinforce value of USA products to customers
- Produce and maintain customer summary reports
- Meet sales quota goals directed to clients where ORMS has not been sold.
- Provide clinical sales support for new accounts
Reports to the firm’s Director of Client Relations
REQUIREMENTS (ideal):
Education:
BSN or comparable science degree, CNOR and Nursing Informatics required. MSN, MBA, MHA degree desired.
Experience:
RN with 3 to 5 years experience working in the Operating Room. Heavy experience with surgical scheduling and perioperative charting, preferably in a Nurse Manager role. Experience with nursing Informatics and improving nursing practice through the creative use of technology, maximizing nursing productivity, and improving the OR scheduling and charting environment infrastructure.
Skills:
Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Good knowledge of hospital operating room workflow process, department functions, and position responsibilities.

An outgoing personality is required. Self motivator. Type A. Ambitious. Good listener. Quick thinker.

Travel:
Should expect out-of-town travel in the 50% range.
Working Area:
Work in the Chesterfield, Missouri area. Live within commuting distance of St. Louis metro area.
TRAINING:
Employee will receive formal training on USA products. Position is heavily dependent upon previous experience. However, position requires development of in-depth knowledge of USA products, customer base, organizational reporting structure and company strategies.
GROWTH PATH:
Increased responsibilities reflected in the number of customers assigned and the assignment of more critical and key customers.
